About

This is the heart of Trips Life & Style

Trips Life & Style was created in a season when life looked good on the outside but felt heavy on the inside. I had the career I worked hard for, the family I prayed for, and a life that made sense on paper. And yet, beneath it all, I felt a quiet pull for something more meaningful. This space is my way of slowing down, living honestly, and allowing God to reshape what purpose looks like in everyday life. You are welcome here just as you are.

This blog was born from lived experience long before it ever became a website.

Like many women, I grew up with a clear picture of how life was supposed to unfold. Go to college. Get the degree. Build the career. Land the dream job. Get married. Have the children. Do the right things. Check the boxes. Create a good life.

And on paper, my life did look good.

I reached goals I once believed would bring fulfillment. I worked long and demanding hours in the corporate world, carrying responsibility, ambition, and expectations with pride. At the same time, I was trying to be fully present at home. Time with my daughter often felt rushed, squeezed between meetings and obligations. I wanted to be everywhere, do everything well, and hold it all together.

From the outside, it looked like success.
From the inside, I was exhausted.

I began to wonder at what cost.

I questioned whether the life I had built, though good, was all God had for me. I wondered if chasing achievement had slowly pulled me away from purpose. Those questions sat quietly but persistently, heavy in the pit of my stomach and impossible to ignore.

That restlessness eventually led me back to God.

I realized I had spent years measuring my life through productivity, roles, and outward success while never fully understanding myself through faith. I had been striving, performing, and pushing forward without pausing to ask who I was becoming in the process.

Trips Life & Style was born from that realization.

Founder’s Note

Trips Life & Style began in a season of honest questions and quiet faith. It is a space shaped by lived experience, not perfection, where slowing down and listening became the beginning of something new.

— Nadege

This space is not about abandoning ambition or rejecting hard work. It is about redefining what a full life looks like. It is about slowing down enough to listen, reflect, and allow God to gently reveal purpose beyond titles, expectations, and the pressure to always do more.

Faith here is not loud or performative. It is lived quietly, imperfectly, and right in the middle of real life.

My name is Nadege. I am a wife. I am a mom. I am a woman still learning how to live with intention.

This blog exists for women who have built full lives but still feel something missing. For women who carry guilt they rarely say out loud. For women who love their families deeply yet feel stretched thin. For women who want their homes to feel like places of peace, not pressure. For women who feel a pull toward God but are still finding their way.

Here, you will find reflections on choosing presence over performance, navigating motherhood with grace, creating calm in everyday life, traveling with intention, and allowing faith to deepen at your own pace. Everything shared here comes from lived experience, not a highlight reel.

Trips Life & Style is a place for real life.
Real faith.
And real women learning to live with intention.
